Invistigation of the compliance of available resources in study stations with people information needs in Bushehr municipality

Abstract
Purpose: The present study aimed to consider the compliance of available resources in study stations with people information needs in Bushehr municipality.
Method: This is a descriptive and applied study. Data were collected using researcher made questionnaire. The statistical population of the study was the users of the study stations in two selected centers which selected by sampling method and based on Cochran's general formula 300 participants filled out questinnaire. Descriptive statistics such as frequency, standard deviation, and mean were analyzed using SPSS 18 software.
Findings: Data anlysis showed that the respondents were satisfied at low and intermediate level to the services provided and the available resources at the study stations. Also, they believed the existence of new and up-to-date books as a major factor in the increased use of readers from study stations and advertising has been an important factor in welcoming the visitors.
Results: According to the results, it seems that the acquired resources in study stations in Bushehr municipality do not compatible with user's information needs and paying attention to the respondents needs, in the long run, cause more consistency to needs of the customer.
